Plastic Tri-Pak

Tri-pak tower random packing, which is similar as polyhedral hollow ball packing, provides maximum surface contact between the gas and the scrubbing liquid by facilitating continous formation of droplets througout the packed bed. This result in high scrubbing efficiency, and minimizes total packing depth required. It can also prevent clogging, because there are no flat surface to harbor particulates. Tri-pak tower packing eliminates puddling too. Because its free of corners and valleys, and minimizes wasteful liquid flow down the wall surface. Tri-pak further prevent dry spots and compression interlock, two phenomena common to traditional packing media. Both conditions cause liquid and air channelling and decrease media efficiency.

Physical & Chemical Properties of Plastic Tri-Pak

Plastic tower packing can be made from heat resistant and chemical corrosion resistant plastics, including polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), reinforced polypropylene (RPP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), polyvinyiidene fluoride (PVDF). The temperature in media ranges from 60 Degree C to 280 Degree C.
